Sadness Engulfs Village As Four Children Drown In AWell

Guntur: A tragic drowning accident resulted in the death of 4 children in Guntur on Friday. The incident took place in Obulnaidupalem that is located in the outskirts of the city.

It is being reported that the four children who belonged to Chowdavaram village in Guntur rural area went for a swim in the open well. They did not anticipate the well to be as deep as they found it to be. They were unfortunately not able to help themselves and help from the villagers did not arrive in time.

The villagers who discovered the floating bodies of the children informed the police even as they recovered the bodies from the well. This tragic incident has cast a gloomy spell over the village.
