Sadhvi On Parole Flees After Taking Massage, Watching Baahubali 2

Ahmedabad: A self-styled god woman, currently on parole in a case pertaining to cheating, gave a slip to the police and escaped. But, before that she had a massage and watched Baahubali movie in a multiplex. All these happened while four police personnel were standing guard on her.

The god-woman, identified as Sadhvi Jayashree, was arrested in January in connection with a cheating case and is currently out on a 10 day parole. She was under the police escort given by the Gujarat High Court. The woman came out for a medical checkup and was guarded by four policemen. She then persuaded them to take her to mall where she took a massage and then went for a movie. Later, on the pretext of going to the washroom, she managed to flee.

JK Bhatt, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch said, "She went for a massage in Himalayan Mall and watched Baahubali 2. She was also continuously on phone seeking to know if her parole could be extended. After realizing that it won’t be extended, she decided to flee."

The four policemen were arrested for dereliction of duty along with Sadhvi's lawyer. A senior official said that the policemen who were kept on guard for Sadhvi completed their training a few months ago.
