RTI activist seeks details of Lord Venkateswara's loan amount

Tirupathi: A strange RTI query sought to know how long Lord Venkateshwara would repay his loan to Kubera.

Narasimha Murty, a Bangalore-based RTI activist, enquired about the loan of Lord Venkateshwara from Kubera,  which, according to Puranic lore, was borrowed during his marriage with Padmavathi and how much of it has been returned.  He also alleged that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is duping people by stating that the Lord is still paying the interest from famous Tirupati 'Hundi'. He also questioned how long will people have to repay the interest to the principle amount and what is the exact figure of principle amount.
