RR District: Sunstroke claims lives of mother, child

With the state having virtually turned into a furnace due to severe heatwave, there's no end to sunstroke related deaths. As many as 22 people have died of sunstroke so far.

In a tragic case, a 29-year-old woman died of heat at  Hayatnagar in Ranga Reddy district a few hours ago. More shocking was the sudden death of her two-year-old child who was crying by the side of her mother's dead body. It is learnt that the child too died unable to bear the heat.
