Rowdies can't live in Vijayawada : Chandrababu

“Rowdies can’t live in Vijayawada,” commented Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu.

Speaking to reporters in Vijayawada on Saturday on the occasion of World Tourism Day,he said, “From nowonwards, I will be a resident of Vijayawada. I will stay here for most of the time and rule the state from here only.”

The chief minister said that he would try for the development of tourism in the state.

He commented that the tourists were fearing with the incidents like Nirbhaya happened in Delhi about two years ago.

“If the law and order situation in the state is good, the tourists will come here. With that, the income will also increase for the state. We will provide complete security to the women in the state,” said Chandrababu.

He warned that he won’t tolerate mafia activities in the state.

“Cock fights are going on in East Godavari and West Godavari districts. There is no wrong if those are conducted just for amusement. But, involvement of money in it is a crime. There are more nice foods in Andhra Pradesh than that of Hyderabad Biryani,” said the chief minister.

He informed that the area under VGTM would be converted into mega city.
