Road turns red in Kandukuru

Kandukuru: Roads were bloodied on placid Saturday morning in Kandukuru mandal of Prakasam district. A deadly collision between a DCM carrying members of a wedding party and a bus belonging to Sri Krishna Travels collided killing 15 people on the spot and injuring over 10. Some are critically injured and there are apprehensions that the toll could shoot up further.
The police and fire department have reached the spot on receiving the information. Further details are awaited.
Speaking to the media at the accident spot, Rama Nayak, Addl. SP of Prakasham district stated that the accident was due to Sri Krishna travel's driver and severe action will be taken against the travel company.
YSRCP Chief, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed his condolences about the accident. He asked the party members to reach the spot and hospital to help the victims of the accident. Y S Jagan spoke about this on the phone with Ongole MP, Y V Subba Reddy and district party Chief. He found out about the situation of the people undergoing the treatment through party leaders. He wished that the victims recovered soon.
