Road Rage: 5 Sabari Pilgrims Dead As Scorpio Overturns

In a ghastly incident of road rage, a scorpio vehicle overturned near Kothakota in Wanaparthi district, killing five of the six persons travelling in the vehicle. Another person is critically injured in the incident. The incident occured in the morning hours of Saturday.

Victims - all youths - were returning from Sabarimalai in their vehicles.

The victims were all pilgrims who were returning from Sabarimalai to their homes in Hyderabad. As the vehicle reached Kothakota, it hit the road divider and turned turtle. Four persons - all youths - traveling in the Scorpio died on th espot and two other critically injured persons were rushed in a 108 ambulance to Wanaparthi Area Hospital. The bodies were shifted for post-mortem.
