RGV Says NTR’s Spirit Will Explode ‘Lakshmi’ Atom Bombs Next Diwali

There might be a ban on fire crackers this Diwali, but no one can stop maverick director Ram Gopal Varma from pyrotechnics. He pretty well knows how to pack punch into seemingly innocuous words and make loaded comments.

He has now ruffled quite a few feathers with his announcement of making Lakshmi’s NTR, a biopic on the legendary actor-turned-chief minister and by claiming that the film will depict NTR from ‘Lakshmi’s point of view. He had already interacted with Lakshmi Parvathi, NTR’s wife, and made his intentions very clear. He had also taken on TDP big mouths with his cool, yet acerbic repartee.

This Diwali, he again showed his cheeky side by greeting the people for their next Diwali and warned that many ‘Lakshmi’ atom bombs lit by NTR’s spirit are going to explode next Diwali.

RGV’s film is being produced by YSRCP leader Rakesh Reddy. Further details about the cast and crew are unknown. RGV has revealed his cast saying that an element of surprise was important. NTR’s son and hero Balakrishna is also planning to make another biopic on NTR and it would be directed by Teja.
