RGV, Kathi Mahesh Reaction To Puri’s Mehbooba Teaser: An Epic Love Story

We already told you that the first look of director Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash Puri’s Mehbooba was released today. The teaser evoked reactions from the who’s who of the Tollywood industry. But, what caught our attention was Ram Gopal Varma’s tweet.

RGV was spellbound by the teaser and called it Puri Jagan’s best work till date. He went on to add that the film seems to have all the elements of making an epic love story. Look at his tweet,

It may be noted here that, on an earlier occasion too RGV was seen praising Mehbooba comparing it with the director's previous film with Superstar Mahesh Babu titled Pokiri.

The interesting element about this flick is that it is directed by Puri Jagan himself and is an important launchpad to Akash, as he is being introduced as lad actor. The plot is about a love story set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war. Puri has called the film a highly intense and passionate love story.
