These were the words that TDP MLA Bonda Uma Maheshwara Rao used in the august assembly of Andhra Pradesh. This innuendo and name-calling was resorted to when YSRCP leaders teared into the ruling party's Pattiseema project proposals. The discussion on several issues saw verbal exchanges between Bonda Uma Maheshwara Rao and YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani.
As YS Jagan launched a scathing attack on the government for taking up Pattiseema lift irrigation which seriously jeopardizes the multi-purpose Polavaram project. He said the whole project would be a wasteful exercise as the water uptake is possible only during the flood season and there is no mechanism as to how this water reaches Rayalaseema as claimed by the Government. He questioned how water could be diverted to the Rayalaseema region if the Pothyreddypadu Head Regulator's repairs are not taken up.
Unable to take on the YSRCP on facts, the TDP MLAs resorted to verbal abuse to divert the issue.
The YSRCP strongly objected to the intemperate and derogatory language and sought an apology from the MLA. They trooped into the well and shouted slogans demanding justice. The speaker adjourned the house for some time due to the uproarious scenes.
