Remove Modi Picture: Babu

AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu seems to be trying to grab all credit for the construction of mega capital of the state for himself, and none else. Not even prime minister Narendra Modi.The CM is extending invitation to the prime minister for the foundation laying ceremony in a high esteem, but he is not ready to share the glitter attached to the construction of Amaravati with Modi.

This kind of intentions are not pronounced publicly, especially if it's Chandrababu. But this trivial incident reveals Babu's intentions clearly, read on:

The government has planned to present a pair of clothes to the households who gave their lands for the capital on the occasion of foundation laying ceremony. The gift will be packaged in a jute bag and the contract for the bags was given to a TDP leader in Vijayawada. When the over-enthusiastic contractor approached Babu with a sample bag printed both Babu's and Modi's pictures on either side, he had to face the wrath of his boss.

"Why Modi's picture when it's we who are doing all the hard work and spending so much money?" Babu asked the contractor to remove Modi's picture and keep only his picture on the bag. And accordingly, 30,000 bags were prepared at a cost of Rs35 each.
