Received red corner notice from Interpol : DGP

DGP of AP Prasada Rao said that they had received the red corner notice issued against Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP K.V.P.Ramachandra Rao.

He said that they were holding discussions on the notice with CBI, the nodal agency for Interpol in India.

Replying to a question, he said that any special supervision was not needed on him as he is an MP.

It may be recalled that Interpol had issued a red corner notice against Rao in the Titanium case.

The officials in CBCID department received the notice on Friday.

He said that they were waiting for the reply on some issues from CBI on arresting the leader.
