Rapist Thrashed To Death By Villagers In UP

Aligarh: A man was thrashed to death by locals at Bheekamapur village in Uttar Pradesh's for raping a six-year-old girl and hacking her to death on Wednesday.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Aligarh, Rajesh Kumar Pandey said, "The accused was nabbed by the locals. He was sitting near the body of the girl after committing the offence. He was drunk. He was thrashed by the people and later died at around 3 am."

The victim’s parents started looking out for the girl after she was not found at home and later discovered her body in a farm. The accused was also found sitting beside the girl's body. Enraged over the incident, the locals thrashed the accused and by the time police arrived at the spot he wad dead.

The accused hailed from Badaun and worked at the victim’s father's snacks shop. A case has been filed and a probe is going on.
