Hyderabad: Ram Charan's upcoming flick 'Rangasthalam 1985' is touted to be one of the biggest flicks in 2018 and already got into the profit zone even before its release. The film has earned a staggering Rs 30.50 crore through Hindi and Telugu satellite rights.

It fetched Rs 10.50 crore for its Hindi satellite rights while Telugu satellite rights and digital rights earned it Rs 20 crore. The movie is directed by Sukumar which is a period drama set in 80s. Ram Charan and Samantha are collaborating for the first time, and Samantha is said to be playing a village belle.

A specially designed set has been erected in Konaseema to capture the beautiful locales. The film was earlier slated for Sankaranthi release, but the makers have now pushed the date to March to avoid box office clash with Pawan Kalyan's film Agnathavasi.
