“Rama-Seetha” TV Serial Director Attacked
Hyderabad: A Telugu TV serial director was attacked by the members of Federation of TV Artistes for shooting the serial on Sunday at Jubilee Hills.
As per the decision of the Federation, the production crew should be given a day off on second Sundays every month. Without taking note of the decision of Federation, the serial director Vasu Srinivas of "Rama-Seetha" scheduled the shooting on Sunday. On learning that the shooting was going on at Jubilee Hills on Sunday, the attackers arrived at the shooting spot and damaged the equipment and mobile phone of the director. They also thrashed the director and producers of the serial.
The victims then lodged a complaint with the police against the leaders for assaulting and damaging the equipment.
The attackers are identified as Rajendra Singh, Nagaraju, Vijay Yadav and Chakri belonging to different organizations. The police registered a case. The attackers are yet to be arrested.
