Ram Gopal Varma to take on Owaisi in Hyderabad?

Ram Gopal Varma is all set to don a new avatar. After making some socially relevant movies, the director is, reportedly, planning to enter the world of politics. As per reports, the Shiv Sena, working on Narendra Modi's advice, is actively seeking to field someone in Hyderabad against  MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi for the upcoming polls. 

Interestingly, instead of opting for a seasoned politician to take on Owaisi who has a strong following in Hyderabad, Shiv Sena is planning to rope in Ram Gopal.  (RGV tweets on Pawan's Janasena)

According to reports, the rationale behind this choice is that RGV is a Hyderabadi citizen and the young, urbane voters is likely to identify with him. However, political analysts are little skeptical about Varma nomination, and feel that it will be a uphill task for the latter to take on Owaisi.  

Varma had met BJP prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat CM, Modi last year, and was also one the first to tweet about Pawan Kalyan's meeting with Modi.  

RGV's recent tweets have also had a political touch. On Tuesday he tweeted, "Congress hataao desh bachaao, Chiranjeevi Hatao,  raashtr bachao'
