Mega Power star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam 1985 has been grabbing headlines ever since it went to sets. Unsuripinsgly, it is one of the hugely awaited films of the year. The film's release has been postponed several times over the past year to avoid a clash with other big star movies like Jr.NTR's Jai Lava Kusa and Power star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi.

Finally, the makers of the movie decided to release Rangasthalam 1985 on March 30 across the world. With its teaser and posters, the filmmakers have already created much hype among the audiences. Rangasthalm 1985 is set in a village drop back where cherry plays a deaf character. He dons a lungi and his character is named Chitti Babu. It is for the first time, Charan is sharing screen space with Samantha and Cherry is all set to play a deaf sound engineer in the film.

Helmed by Sukumar, Rangasthalam 1985 is produced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Ram Charan was last seen in Dhruva which tanked at the box office. He didn't release any film last year and his fans are eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of Cherry in the film. Naturally, Ram Charan has pinned hopes on this film. The unit has shot most of the film in the Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh. Aaadhi Pinisetty who was last seen playing a baddie in Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi will also appear in a key role in Rangasthalam 1985.

Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj will be playing prominent roles in the film. Jabardasth Anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj portrays the role of Charan's sister while Allu Arjun's Duvvada Jagannadham actress Pooja Hedge wil be seen in a special item number which will be a major highlight of the film.
