Rajamouli All Praise For Hyderabad Police, Expresses Concern Over Piracy 

Hyderabad: Ace director S.S Rajamouli on Saturday expressed concern over rise in movie piracy which is dealing a major blow to the film industry.

Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday, Rajamouli hailed the Hyderabad police for nabbing the offenders who had secured the master copy of his latest blockbuster, Baahubali-2: The Conclusion.

The police last week arrested a six-member gang from Delhi and Patna for allegedly trying to extort Rs 15 lakh from the makers of Baahubali-2. The gang had secured a HD print of the movie by breaching satellite technology. Central Crime Station DCP Avinash Mahanty and SCP Raghuveer took special interest to crack the case, Rajamouli said.

"It is unfortunate that a filmmaker has to toil so much to save a movie from getting pirated and the police too had to work hard to arrest the offenders," he commented.
