Hyderabad has been witnessing scattered rain and thundershowers for the past few days. According to the Hyderabad Weather Center director YK Reddy, the monsoon rains will continue for the next two days.
Hyderabad has already recorded 108 mm of rainfall in the month of June against the normal rainfall average of 111.2 mm. Edapalli in the city has recorded highest rainfall of 7 cm. Ramayampet in Makuluru recorded 5 cm and Medak 4 cm.
As a result of the rains, the temperatures have come down. The temperature now stands at 33.5°C, which is five degrees below the normal limit.
