Rain Lashes Hyderabad; Commuters Face Harrowing Time During Peak-Hour Traffic 

Hyderabad: Moderate to heavy rain lashed several parts of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on Wednesday bringing life to a standstill.

The continuous downpour threw the traffic out of gear at different locations in the city. Areas like Neredmet, Tarnaka, Uppal and several locations in Secunderabad soaked in heavy rain. Several localities in the city were inundated due to flood water. Roads were water-logged up to knee-level in some areas giving a harrowing time for the commuters during the peak-hour traffic. Metro Rail works were suspended at all the locations.

Traffic is moving at a snail's pace at Kukatpally, Miyapur along the Lingapally and BHEL stretch.
