Rain fails to dither YS Vijayamma in Srikakulam

Braving the drizzle, YSR Congress Party honorary president YS Vijayamma continuing her election campaign at Palakonda in Srikakulam district on Thursday evening.

Vijayamma is determined to continue her road show in heavy rain.

Addressing a large crowd, Vijayamma said that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu nine-year term is like a nightmare during which farmers were subjected to harsh treatment with high power tariff and ruthless collection methods and his policies have driven farmers, weavers and others to indebtedness and suicides. He has never kept his word and all his poll promises proved to be empty.

With such an inglorious past, he is again coming to you to seek votes with unfeasible promises. "He has promised of converting Hyderabad in to Singapore and the state as Swarnandhra Pradesh while he was chief minister but did nothing other than making merry with public money. Did Chandrababu implement even one scheme when he was in power? Ask him this when he come here."

Despite heavy rain, a large number of party activists and people attended her road show.

“I appeal you to strengthen his hands by voting of YSRCP fan symbol to bring back the old days of YSR where all sections of the society have been happy," she signed off.
