Raghunandan Rao likely to join BJP: Sources

Suspended TRS leader Raghunandan Rao, who stepped up his fight against TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao and his nephew and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao, is planning to join the BJP.

According to sources, Raghunandan Rao is planning to switch his loyalty to BJP. In an interview to a TV channel earlier during the day, the former TRS loyalist said that he would never go back to TRS.

It may be recalled that a day after TRS issued suspension orders against Raghunandan for anti-party activities, he alleged that Harish Rao received a kickback of Rs. 80 lakh to stay mum on the  Padmalaya studios issue. He also revealed that the deal was done in the presence of Medak MP Vijayasanti's husband at her residence. Raghunandan also met the CBI and submitted the evidence to the agency.
