Radhika Apte’s Nude Scene Leaked Online

After gaining accolades at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2016, film ‘Parched’ is again making news, however, this time for wrong reasons. Lovemaking scenes between Radhika Apte and her co-star Adil Hussain has been doing rounds on social media sending the maker into a tizzy. Interestingly, her new image is in quite contrast to the heroine of Rajinikanth’s latest blockbuster Kabali.

One of the scenes shows Radhika’s bare back as she locks lips, while the other scene shows frontal nudity.

Asked on this, producer Aseem Bajaj said,”I don’t think the leak happened in India. The film has released in the U.S and France and its possible someone uploaded from there. The scenes are not sensational or titillating in any way. But in our country while rape videos are available freely, sex is still considered taboo so we have planned to blur out the breasts. Radhika plays a woman who has been beaten up all her life and is yearning for a loving touch.”

Meanwhile, actor Adil is irked over the scenes being leaked online and said that, “I learnt about it from Google alert and it felt bizarre in the beginning. In fact, it felt very weird. It shows how sexually obsessed a lot of people in our society are. You leak only the sex scene and no other beautiful scenes from the film. It only shows that we are extremely obsessed about sex and yet we don’t want to talk about it. We shun it, shove it under the carpet and don’t want to show it to people.”

The makers of the film have approached to Cyber Crime branch to nab the culprit. Well, this is not the first time such thing has happened. Last year Radhika’s nude scene from a 20-minute short film directed by Anurag Kashyap was leaked online. The scenes created a lot of stir leading the removal of video.
