Actor R Madhavan is all set to charm Japan for the second straight year.
Born in Jadmshedpur and several hit films to his credit in Bollywood, the actor is making waves in Tamil cinema. Interestingly, those waves are made in distant Japan - Tokyo International Film Festival. While last year his movie "Irudhi Suttru" was featured in the film festival, this year it is another Madhavan-starrer titled Vikram Vedha. It is the story of a cat-and-mouse game played by a ruthless encounter cop (Madhavan) and a hardened-by-circumstance don (Sethupathi).
The film is helmed by the husband-wife duo of Pushkar-Gayathri. Playing the baddie in the movie is Vijay Sethupathi. While the Japanese audience received the two Tamil films well, it remains to be seen if Madhavan will score a hat-trick if a third film of his features at the Festival.
