Puttaparthi, a mess without Sathya Sai Baba

Puttaparthi, the spiritual centre has turned into a address for controversies. As long as Sathya Sai Baba was around, the trust affairs were calm. However, now the scene is something very different . Now the friction inside has come to the fore. The controversy between Baba's brother's son and Satya Sai Cenral Trust member Ratnakar and nephew Ganapati Raju has reached its peak.

The latest we hear is that a case of atrocity has been filed against Ganapati Raju at Puttaparti police station. Ratnakar's supporter Chintamanu Sai Prasad lodged a complaint with the police alleging that  Ganapathi and his son abused and attacked him.

Following the complaint, police have arrested Ganapathi Raju along with son in Puttaparthi yesterday.

On the other hand, Ganapati Raju alleged that Sai Prasad attempted to kill him.  Residents of Sai Nagar took to the streets and protested against Ganapati Raju saying that the latter was purposely making allegations against Ratnakar.

They burnt the effigy of Ganapati Raju. They submitted memorandum to DGP that Ganapati Raju was hurting the sentiments of devotees and urged the DGP to take strict action against him.
