Promotions for 12 from IAS and IPS cadre

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Friday issued directives for promoting officers from IAS and IPS cadre. Five IAS officers: Rajat Kumar, Ramakrishna Rao, Haripreet Singh, Arvind Kumar and Ashok Kumar were promoted as chief secretaries.

Similarly, IPS officers belonging to 1991 batch were promoted to the rank of Additional DGs… those from 1998 IPS batch promoted to IG rank and 2002 IPS batch officers promoted to DIG rank. The directives were issued by the Telangana government principal secretary, Rajiv Sharma.

C.V Anand and Rajiv Ratan were promoted as Additional DGs. While Vikram Singh, R.B Naik, B Mallareddy, Muralikrishna and Shivaprasad were promoted to IG rank, Rajesh Kumar and Shivasankar Reddy were promoted as DIGs.
