Mumbai: A school principal thrashed a 9th Class student for allegedly masturbating in his classroom. Later, the principal humiliated the student by making him confess before other students of resorting to to the act.

The incident took place at Stann Knowledge Campus (SKC) school in Evershine city in Nalasopara East, Mumbai last week.

According to the police, Stanny Pinto, who is the Principal of the SKC school allegedly assaulted three students later made one of them to confess to the act.

The boy returned home with cut wounds on his back and derriere. Noticing the wounds, the boy's mother decided to confront the principal the next day. However, she was not allowed inside the school. Then, she lodged a complaint with the police against the school principal.

The victim's mother told the police that her son had an itching problem for the past a few months and he was under medication. She contended that the students and the principal mistook Patil for masturbating in the class.

A case was registered against Stanny Pinto under sections 323, 324 of the IPC. However, the school principal managed to secure an anticipatory bail from the court.
