Prakash Raj Speaks On Controversial Drugs Scandal, Backs Puri
Hyderabad: At a time when the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is questioning several Tollywood celebrities for their alleged involvement in controversial drugs case, artiste Prakash Raj came to the rescue of director Puri Jagannath.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Prakash Raj said it is high time people and media realise that sensationalising news before the unraveling of actual truth is wrong.
On Wednesday, Puri broke down in a video in which he accused some media outlets of sensationilising the news and bringing him into the drugs scandal. "Attitude of media has hurt me. They destroyed my life. If there is anything, the SIT will decide," he said.

Earlier, actor from the Mega stable Varun Tej opened up on the controversial drug scandal. The actor in an interview said that he was shocked on hearing Puri's name doing rounds in the scandal and strongly refuted the allegations.
