Even as the AP Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reached YSR ghat in Idupalapaya to pay tribute to the departed soul of his father late YS Rajashekar Reddy, scores of people thronged the place wanting to catch a glimpse of their beloved leader.
While many hailed Jagan's people-centric movement, several others vowed to take active part in the YSRCP chief's Praja Sankalpa Yatra which will commence from today. Vexed with the TDP government's apathy, the general public expressed hope that Jagan will bring about the much-needed change in the political scene and solve the problems they are facing on a daily basis.
Interestingly, the primary objective of Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra is exactly that-personal interaction with the public to get first hand information on their problems so his party can come up with a manifesto that can benefit people.
YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Padayatra will cover a distance of 3000 kms spanning six months. During this walkathon, the leader of opposition will cover every possible constituency and district in Andhra Pradesh.
