Praja Sankalpa Yatra Crosses 1200 Km Milestone

YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's mass outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra crossed the 1200 km milestone in Prakasam district, on Friday. He reached the milestone at Ramakrishnapuram in Kandukuru constituency of Prakasam district. To mark the event, YS Jagan planted a sapling and hoisted the party flag amid sloganeering by enthusaiastic YSRCP leaders, party cadre and people of Kandukuru.

YS Jagan's walkathon entered Prakasam district at Kothapeta village in Lingasamudram mandal. Thousands of well-wishers of YSRCP greeted the leader and extended a warm welcome to him. After 20 days of close interaction with the masses in the Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district, over nine assembly constituencies and 266.5 km, the padayatra entered Prakasam district.

Leader of the Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched his mass contact programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra on November 6, 2017 from Idupulapaya in Dr. YSR Kadapa district, after paying homage to his father, the late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy at his memorial. The Padayatra entered its 89th day today and has coursed through the districts of Kadapa, Chittoor, Anantapur, Kurnool and Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore, before reaching Prakasam.

During the course of his walkathon, the YSRCP President lent a patient hearing to the grievances of the people and also received overwhelming response. His promise of Rajanna Rajyam has struck a chord with the masses who nurse the hope of a better tomorrow. Men, women and children poured out their woes to YS Jagan along every step of the way, and had a spate of complaints about the TDP government. Their grievances covered every aspect of governance including healthcare, employment, delay of fee reimbursement, injustice to farmers, and denial of pensions, among others. YS Jagan has reassured the masses of addressing their grievances through the party's Navarathnalu, covering all segments of society.
