Prabhas And Anushka Maintain Distance After Marriage Rumours

Prabhas-Anushka one had hoped, would come together soon, going by the rumours swirling around. All it took to set the gossip mills going again was a remark by Prabhas' uncle Krishnam Raju who dropped a broad hint that the young rebel star is ready to get married this year. Tongues began wagging even while neither Krishnam Raju, nor Prabhas said anything about the likely identity of the prospective bride.

Anushka, on her part, has maintained a dignified silence on her part. As things stand, the duo it is learnt, is maintaining distance after the rumours and have been suggesting that they are just friends.

Prabhas' close friend says that the rumours surface all the time and that some do it to promote films, say for instance, Anushka's upcoming flick Bhaagamathie. While it may too much to suggest that such rumours serve as a promotion tool for any film, the actors themselves may soon speak out and put a lid on these rumours.
