PPP route for AP capital

The TDP government is struggling to find ways to get funds for setting up of Andhra Pradesh capital.

As per the reports, it is thinking of building the capital in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.

The state government has already abolished VGTM UDA and formed a new organsiation with the name of Capital Region Territorial Authority (CRTA). Further, it also decided to form a new corporation with the name 'Build AP.'

The government is thinking of creating properties and trying to get loans from them. As part of this, it is trying to get funds by issuing bonds, taking donations and other ways.

Even when all these are done,  there will still be fund crunch. Hence, the government is going in for PPP mode.
