Ponnam Prabhakar Escapes With Minor Injuries In Road Mishap
Former MP and Congress leader Ponnam Prabhakar met with an accident when the car in which he was travelling in overturned. The MP escaped with minor injuries. Six others travelling with him also suffered minor injuries.
The incident occurred in the wee hours of Saturday near Nampalli village in Vemulawada mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district. Ponnam and six others were returning after they had a darshan of Lord Rajarajeswara at Vemulawada. Besides Ponnam, former chairperson of zilla parishad A Lakshman Kumar, city Congress president Karra Rajasekhar, Ponnam's relatives Sandeep, Ramakrishna and Chandar and car driver Srinivas were travelling in the car at the time of the mishap.
They were immediately rushed to a hospital in Karimnagar for emergency care.
