TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Friday said that his party will consider merger if TRS comes forward with a proposal.
Speaking to reporters after arriving in Hyderabad, Ponnala said presently discussions on CPI-Congress electoral alliance is going on and our party decided to give one MP seat and eight Assembly seats to CPI in Telangana. "Discussion are going. Very soon the discussions will come to end," he said.
However, TRS senior leader Harish Rao made it clear that there will be no merger or alliance with Congress party. Congress leaders are trying to betray the public by playing 'mind games' on merger. " All the doors for merge with Congress have closed. We will go alone in the elections."
He expressed hope that TRS would win in the ZPTC and MPTC elections.
Responding on Pawan Kalayn's Jana Sena party, Harish Rao said that it is common for Chiranjevi's family to float a party and struck deals with other parties.
