'Ponnala benefited only Andhra people'

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Rajaiah said that the TRS Government would fulfill all its election promises.

Speaking to mediapersons in Hyderabad on Saturday, he said, “Ponnala Lakshmaiah helped Andhra people to get water and funds. He did justice to Andhra people only.”

The minister said that his government has waived off loans of farmers to the extent of Rs.19,000 cr till now.

Rajaiah said that the government was distributing lands to the poor people in the state.

“Earlier government had spent several thousands of crores of rupees in the state. But, not even one additional acre of agricultural land was benefited from it,”said the minister.

When asked about KCR's public rebuke of his work, Rajaiah said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is like a father to him.
