India Avenges Pulwama Deaths With Pre-Drawn Airstrike On Pakistan

Pakistan’s Military Spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to make public the Indian Airstrikes that happened across the Line Of Control (LOC). The tweet read: “Indian Air Force violated Line of Control. Pakistan Air Force immediately scrambled. Indian aircrafts went back. Details to follow."

Then at 7 am Ghafoor tweeted, "Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage."

Reports came in of Pakistan going against the Ceasefire at the LOC. Sources say that the Pakistani troops fired at Indian posts many times through the night and the Indians hit back with a vengeance.

Sources from the Indian Air Force then said that the Airforce struck a major terrorist camp across the LOC with the help of a group of Miraj 2000s and completely destroyed it at 0330 hours on February 26.

After this statement was out, sources added saying that 10 Mirage 2000 fighter jets were sent across the LOC and dropped 1000kg of bombs on the targets; terror camps and Jaish-e-Mohammad launch pads, among other terrorist groups.

Omar Abdullah the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir tweeted saying, "As reports of air strikes across the LoC by IAF planes gather steam looks like our defenses are in the air including this airborne early warning aircraft. Appears to be patrolling the international border."

Balakot, Chakoti, and Muzaffarabad pads have been destroyed sources say. Alpha-3 control rooms of Jaish also destroyed.

Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Abhishek Singhvi, also tweeted, "Indian Air Force Strikes at Balakot don't have official word yet but the Helter Skelter by Pakistan seems like something big has happened. The IAF has gone beyond POK & into Pakistan near their capital while they were busy counting alms received from Saudi & China."

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "I salute the pilots of the IAF."

An estimates 300 terrorists are believed to be killed in the airstrike, sources have said.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal saluted the Indian Air Force pilots in his tweet.
