I Will Not Contest In Telangana Assembly Polls: Dy CM Kadiyam Srihari
Hanamkonda: Telangana caretaker Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari today announced he would not contest in the upcoming elections and that there was no chance of him joining the Congress. Speaking at a press conference here at the Haritha Kakatiya Hotel in Nakkalagutta, he said that the rumours doing the rounds in social media were false. He added that since the day he earned the Right to Vote, he had not voted for the Congress.
Kadiyam said he would never vote for Congress. Adding that caretaker CM K Chandrashekar Rao made him the Deputy CM despite being an MP, he said he would continue working under his leadership in TRS.
"No decision was made with respect to the party ticket to my daughter. I will try and resolve the issues within the party in Station Ghanpur constituency. Konda Surekha shifted to Parkal because she is aware she wouldn't be voted back to power in Warangal East," he added.
