Congress Does A Pogba On Acche Din

The official Twitter account of Congress party posted a sarcastic tweet on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his "Acche Din" (good days) promise before the 2014 general elections. On several ocassions, during the 2014 Lok Sabha election campaign, PM Modi maintained that good days were about to come.

Taking a jibe at the Prime Minister, the Congress party tweeted, "Pogba and us, same feels. @paulpogba," over the wait for Acche Din. In a video attached in the tweet, FIFA World Cup 2018 winning French footballer Paul Pogba is seen looking around in desperation for his teammate.

Last month, former Finance Minister P Chidambaram took a dig at PM Modi over the record fall of the Indian rupee against the US dollar, saying he was still looking forward to the BJP's Acche Din.
