Vizag: The Communist Party of India (CPI) Andhra Pradesh State Secretary Ramakrishna lambasted Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for burdening the state exchequer with huge loans lambasted Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for burdening the state exchequer with huge loans. In the last four years, Chandrababu has more than doubled the loans to Rs 2 lakh crores from Rs 94,000 crores in 2014, he remarked. Chandrababu, who is the main reason behind the centre's refusal to accord Special Category Status (SCS) to the state, has completely ignored the interests of the state in the last four years, he said.

The state government suppressed the Left parties' fight for the Kadapa steel plant by arresting our leaders, while it is allowing fake protests by the ruling party leaders, he condemned. We have called for a Kadapa Bandh on June 29 and we request support from all sections of the society to make it a success, he stated.

"When will the Special Investigation Team (SIT) take up the Vizag land scam issue? Is Chandrababu scared about the involvement of TDP leaders in the scandal?" he questioned. If the investigation is not taken up within a week's time, the CPI will take up protest on the matter, he asserted.

The Communist parties are getting ready for a movement to address the issues faced by labour, tribals, students and employee communities, beginning with a massive rally at Vijayawada, he said. On July 8, a public meeting will be conducted in Vizag, on the issues faced by labour organizations, he added. TDP leaders have become the official agents for sand mafia activities in the state, he said.

The centre has decieved people of the state over the bifurcation promise of a Railway Zone in AP, he said.
