Vijayawada: BJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao said that the facts in Air Asia scam will come out soon and questioned why TDP leaders were worried when there were references to this scam. Talking to media here today, he said already a few individuals from Singapore were arrested as part of this case.

He said there was no reason for BJP to resort to phone-tapping of the TDP leaders and mentioned that the culture of phone-tapping was that of TDP and not BJP. The BJP MP said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's government tapping the phone of AP BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana. He also claimed that they had evidence of this which made the TDP insecure.

GVL asked the TDP government to present any kind of evidence against BJP and said they were ready to counter them with facts. He was surprised that Chandrababu was looking for 'right time' to disclose information about scams. Moreover the TDP Chief was misleading the people and their government was behaving irresponsibly, he said.

The BJP leader once again emphasised that AP was number one in corruption and it was completely ignoring development.The BJP spokesperson said that till date the government had failed to give land for the construction of Krishnapatanam industrial hub. The central government had released funds, but they have been completely misused, he added.
