Just one day is left for Mahesh Babu's most anticipated film Bharat Ane Nenu to hit the marquee. Helmed by Koratala Siva, the film is a political drama, and created a lot of buzz ever since the film went to sets. Mahesh opens up about the film and its role in influencing the current political spectrum.

When A Sakshi reporter asked Mahesh if the film will take a jibe at the current political scenario, he asserts that, "The film has no deviations and doesn’t carry satirical remarks. In fact, it will leave the audience surprised." He was also confident enough to say that politicians will appreciate the film.

When quizzed further on a possible message the film was trying to convey, Mahesh said, "Siva's films are bound to have a message and Bharat Ane Nenu is no exception. Moreover, it is not restricted to any community or group so each one should watch it." He added, "It's been a long time I have seen a film in this genre, and I feel we have revived it with Bharat Ane Nenu."

When asked if this film would make an impact keeping in view the current political slugfest ahead of elections, Mahesh stated that he can't say if the film would bring in change. "I believe movies are made for entertainment and if the audience gets connected with the message and abide by it, then it’s well and good."

Meanwhile, fans of the superstar can heave a sigh of relief as the Tamil film industry has decided to call off the strike which had cast a shadow of uncertainty over the release of Bharat Ane Nenu. This is the second time Mahesh Babu has collaborated with Koratala Siva. Their previous association Srimanthudu did fantastic business at the box office. So, cinegoers have pinned high hopes on this film.
