Political hearsay: What's hot in TDP, TRS?

Sakshipost brings you the hottest topics in AP politics. The matter may be true or mere speculation, yet it does provide fodder for gossip.  Here's what we got for you...

Hari Krishna launching new party?

The buzz in the TDP circles is that late NTR's son and Rajya Sabha member, Hari Krishna is planning to launch a new party.  This isn't a baseless rumor. There are enough reasons that have led to the speculations.

It is learnt that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu called for review meetings with the in-charges from all the Parliamentary constituencies. However, Naidu showed his witty habit of dealing with senior leaders, who raise a banner of revolt against him or his party. Sources said Hari Krishna has not been invited to the meeting. They say it is a deliberate act.

The other reason is obvious and well-known publicly. It is not a hidden drama that everybody knew the differences between Hari Krishna and Naidu for quite some time.  The reason for the fight between the Nara-Nandamuri icons is that who will lead the party campaign in the upcoming polls - NTR or Lokesh?

And if this latest development turns out to be true, then it will be a big loss for the TDP as votes as well as the Nandamuri family will have a vertical split. Hari Krishna, who had founded Anna Telugu Desam Party, had winded it up with continuous harassment from TDP supreme Chandrababu Naidu. He too did not have the support of the majority of his family members then.

Now, his strength is his son Junior NTR. So, he may launch a new party, or may revive his political party.

 KCR, a victim of phobia?

Why is KCR conspicuous by his absence during the T protests?  Million March, a historical protest in the Telangana movement, where the T activists resorted to demolition of statues on the Tank Bund, KCR, the kingpin behind T movement skipped it.

Another instance where KCR bunked T protest is Telangana March call given by TJAC last year.

Sadak bandh and today’s ‘Chalo Assembly’ are some of the agitations for which KCR kept himself away.

His party leaders and all the pro-Telangana leaders marked their attendance by taking part in the 'Chalo Assembly' programme. However, KCR was not to be seen anywhere. But to make his presence felt, he called for a Telangana bandh tomorrow.

Is this because KCR is scared of agitations? Or that he attends only programmes where he can give speeches?

Watch this space for more updates every day. Sakshipost will bring you all the hot gossips.
