Political gossip: Nightmares for TDP, TRS

Sakshipost brings you the hottest topics in AP politics. The matter may be true or mere speculation, yet it does provide fodder for gossip.  Here's what we got for you...

The ongoing feud between TRS and the TDP is out in the open. The leaders of the two parties are taking jibes at each other. There have been allegations and counter allegations.

Comments and criticizms aren't new to politics. However, there are some that completely zaps the opposition. In one such remark that gave a jolt to TDP, a remark made by TRS MLA Harish Rao while criticizing TDP has raised many a eyebrows. Harish Rao on Friday said that the TDP leaders are busy levelling allegations against him even as their party is losing its strength. The next comment was most shocking and unexpected. Rao revealed that eight TDP MLAs were regularly in touch with the TRS.

This statement has made the TDP to sit up and take notice. The buzz in the political circles is that the TDP is now busy finding the traitor MLAs.

If Harish Rao's statements are true, then there will be hardly few members left in the party before elections. It's high time party chief Chandrababu Naidu stop criticizing others and look into his own party affairs. It's worth mentioning here that Naidu is on a trip to America right now.

Suspended leaders a big worry for TRS

TRS chief Chandrasekhara Rao and his son KTR have landed in trouble. The TDP has targeted the father-son duo, projecting TRS as 'Vasool and Danda' party. While on the one side, suspended TRS politburo member N. Raghunandan Rao exposed KCR and Harish Rao to the CBI with evidence, on the other hand suspended leader Chinta Swamy alleged that KCR is earning crores of rupees in the name of Telangana movement. He also wrote a letter to KCR regarding this. In that, Chinta Swamy threatened KCR with agitation with a lakh slippers on July 7 if the party chief failed to respond to his letter. There were reports that Raghunandan Rao was behind an anti-KTR story telecast by a TV channel.

While Congress is busy wooing the Telangana voters with the special package and BJP is finding ways to get a hold over the state, the heat is clearly up in TRS and TDP.

We bring you the best and the latest gossips in Andhra politics. Stay tuned.
