Here is the complete programme of Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony and a minute-by-minute schedule of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the function on October 22:

Prime Minister will arrive at the Amaravati foundation ceremony at Uddandarayunipalem at 12.30pm and will leave the venue at 1.45pm, spending exactly 1.15 hours at the function. Japan Minister Yoshikitaki, Singapore Minister Eeshwaran will speak for 3 minutes each and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu for 5 minutes and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for 10 minutes. Then Modi will speak for 32 minutes.

Who All Will Be On the Dais

The dais is being prepared for 17 dignitaries to seat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Punjab CM Prakash Singh Badal, Governor ESL Narasimhan, Tamilnadu Governor K. Rosaiah, Asom Governor Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya, Supreme Court judges Justice NV Ramana, Justice Jasti Chalameshwar, and Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice Dilip B. Bosale will occupy the dais. The Union Ministers P. Ashok Gajapati Raju, M. Venkaiah Naidu, Sujana Chowdary, Nirmala Sitaraman and Bandaru Dattatreya will also be seated on the dais.

Singapore Minister Eeshwaran and Japan Minister Yoshikitaki will also be seated on the dais.

Other VIPs, VVIPs

A total of 700 VIPs and VVIPs will sit on two daises arranged on either side of the main dais. These include ministers, MLAs, MPs, industrialists, celebrities and other important people. Among audience will be 30,700 farmers, 40,000 public representatives (mostly TDP cadres). Eenadu Group chairman Ramoji will also attend the ceremony.

Location: Amravati foundation ceremony is being held on the bank of River Krishna in Uddandarayunipalem in Guntur district. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu believes that “The location where the foundation stone will be laid should be vaastu-compliant and a picturesque spot. In future, it will become the nerve centre of Andhra Pradesh, signifying river-linking and a spot where soil from all mandals will be mixed with the soil of Amaravati.”

Muhurtham: The event will begin at 12.45pm with the laying of the foundation stone and a film on Amravati and CM Chadrababu Naidu’s vision for the capital will be screened. A few cultural programmes will be organised. Modi will felicitate farmers who have given their land for the construction of Amravati. The event is being managed by Wizcraft.

Lunch: In the lunch that follows the main function, about 1.5 lakh people will feast on a lavish spread. The catering is being handled by Hyderabad-based KMK Event Management Pvt Limited. A packaged vegetarian lunch with a bottle of water will be served to each person.
