Pic talk: Highway on their plate

They say you don't need a silver fork to eat food. This pic clicked by Sakshi photographer at Nizamabad shows a man and his sister from Titla village, who attended the Weekly Grievance Redressal Meet at the collectorate satiating their hunger right in front of the collector's chamber.

One does not know whether their grievances were addressed or not, but the sorgham bread (Jonna Rottelu) and rice with chilli pickle (Karam annam) that they brought with them sure are satiating their hunger. Probably, the collector and his officials too must be having their lunch on the other side of the wall. Hunger, they say, is a great equalizer, but class walls still divide the poor and the not so poor.
