Pharmacy Student Held For Killing SI With Speeding Car

Hyderbad: A day after the death of an SI in an accident at Tippu Khan bridge in Langar Houz, police on Tuesday arrested a 21-year-old student who rammed his car into the SI as he was in a hurry. The accident which took place between 5.30 am and 6 am on Monday when SI Kistaiah was going for a morning walk.

The accused, Mohammed Abdul Shoaib, who fled from the scene after the accident was finally caught by the Langar Houz police. Shoaib is a resident of Musheerabad and is pursuing his B. Pharmacy at a college in the city.

The police said that a few locals managed to note down the registration vehicle of the number. After examining CCTV footage, and tracking the registration number, the police nabbed Khaleel, the owner of the car and on the investigation he revealed that it was his nephew Mohammed Abdul Shoaib, who took the car on Monday morning.

Police arrested the Abdul and he confessed the crime claiming that he was in a hurry at that time as his aunt was sick. Abdul was sent to remand for further investigation.
