Petrol dealers in city will work 24/7

Petrol dealers in the city who had threatened strike over hike in commission, have called off their strike.

It is learn't that the petroleum companies have agreed to the commission hike. With this, they have put off their decision to work for just one shift. Many petrol pumps in the city had shut down their bunks asserting that they would work only between 8.30am - 5.30pm.
Even petrol pumps on the Highways worked till 8pm on Monday. The Centre's silence on the commission hike issue had led to petrol dealers resorting to such tactics. Now, with the Oil companies agreeing to their demands, the issue has now been resolved. The petrol pumps will now work 24 hours as before.
