Looks like Power star Pawan Kalyan is finally all set to bid goodbye to the silver screen. For one thing, PK films haven't quite been rocking at the box office for some time. Take the examples, of his forgettable movies such as Katamarayudu, Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Agnyaathavaasi.

Agnyaathavaasi was not simply a box office debacle, but also got the film needless publicity about plagiarized content. The movie's director, Trivikram Srinivas, found himself in the eye of a storm, over charges of plagiarism--that the film was a straight lift from the French film, Largo Winch. Pawan is supposed to do two films now-- with Mythri Movie Makers possibly a Theri remake. But these films are not likely to take off owing to PK's plunge into politics.

Film critic Haricharan Pudipeddi‏ broke this news on his twitter handle. His tweet reads:

Last evening, #PawanKalyan hinted he's no longer sure about a career in films and is most likely to pursue a full-fledged political career. Wishing him all luck in whatever he does.
