Road damage at Panjagutta creates traffic jam

A major road damage at Panjagutta threw traffic out of gear for commuters on Friday morning.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner MT Krishna Babu visited the spot and blamed the contractor for the unfortunate situation.

“Due to the negligence of the contractor, the road's damaged and we will take necessary action against him,” he said.
The vehicular traffic on the damaged road was jammed as the main road in the heart of the city connects many places. Traffic police blocked the road and diverted vehicles towards Taj Krishna. Vehicles passing from Khairatabad towards Panjagutta are using the redirected route now.
