Paternal uncle kills 2-year-old in Guntur

Guntur: In a shocking incident, a two year old boy was kidnapped  on Thursday and was brutally murdered by his paternal uncle in Tadepalli of Guntur district.

Mokshagna, 2,  who lives with his grand parents in Tenail, was kindapped by his paternal uncle and later was brutally murdered at Kanakadugamma Varadhi of Tadepalli mandal.  Mokshagna's  grand father, Rambabu is working as ASI in Ponnur police station. While his father, Bhaskar, is working as a software engineer in Hyderabad. Police registered a case and probe is on. They are suspecting that family disputes might be the reason for the murder. Police is searching for his uncle who is absconding.

This is not the first such incident, there were at least three such  recent incidents during the last one month.

* A 10-year-old- child, Aradhya, was killed by her paternal uncle in November. She was killed because she was becoming a hindrance for him to be with his newly-wed wife.

 *Uday Kiran, a student of seventh was kidnapped and killed by his cousin for money in Vanastalipuram, Hyderabad.

*Three days ago on Sunday, maternal uncle killed five-year-old Lakshmi Priya in Thiruchanur of Chittoor district.
